A very lazy low magnification shot of the sun with Lunt Calcium K module on APM 80/480 refractor with DMK41 camera. Despite the fact that it is a routine shot, the sun still reveals its ever-changing beauty.

In a CaK shot, the dark spots are sunspots. The picture can be viewed as a map of magnetic field strength, with the lighter areas being region of stronger magnetic field.

Interesting, I also want to know. Normally, the sunspot can stand for about two weeks.
