I have been waited the full moon to complete this task for more than half year. Tonight when I came back from gathering, I saw the sky condition may be ok. As a matter of fact the moon phase of tonight, the day after Mid-autumn festival is more close to 100% than that of the moon phase of Mid-autumn festival this year. So I went out at about 10:30pm & see if I can complete this task. But the thin clouds ruined my mission. To the worst, there is a small part in my M8, a circular ring of diameter of about 3cm, is loosen suddenly when I do focusing. The ring can be seen from the front side of the scope. It is running inside the tube! I handled the scope with great care so that the ring would not hit the front corrector & primary mirror. In order to fix it, it is inevitable to dissemble it! Any one has dissembled M8 or C8 before? Or any suggestions?
