Some examples of our products -
FLI was the first astronomical camera company to introduce the very popular KAF-8300 sensor and the ML8300-45 is considered to be the best camera that uses this sensor. The cameras cooling is -60 deg C below ambient and download speeds are remarkably fast – only 1.5 seconds for a full frame 16-bit image. The camera window features AR coatings with less than 0.004 reflectance.
Our Atlas focuser is the ultimate in repeatability, weight bearing capacity and resolution. It has 105,000 steps of movement over a 0.35” range of travel. This was voted Sky and Telescope’s Hot Product of 2011.
The ProLine PL16803 downloads in 3 seconds, cools to -55 deg C with standard cooling (lower with liquid cooling) and has two separate A/D converters to maximize performance. This is the finest available KAF-16803 based camera available.
The new CenterLine CFW has two internal carousels and motors, a centralized aperture so that the weight is evenly distributed around the filter wheels connection to the camera.

ProLine ~ 60 watts with a 4 amp 50ms pulse opening for the 65mm shutter, .2 amps to hold the shutter open. This is with the TEC at 100%
MicroLine ~ 50 watts with a 4 amp 50ms pulse opening for the 65mm shutter, .2 amps to hold the shutter open. This is with the TEC at 100%
The primary difference is the cooling improvements in the ProLine plus the ability to run a color filter wheel and focuser through the ProLine body using our short cable kit. 12v power and USB connections are available on the ProLine body. This allows a complete system to run with only one power cable and one USB cable.
The other difference is weight - the ProLine is 5.5 lbs and the MicroLine is 2.25 lbs. Finally the ProLine has two separate A/D converters for the ultimate in optimized low speed and high speed performance.
The ProLine body also seals all electrical PCBs from the environment - dusty and humid conditions will never reach the ProLine PCBs.
