yes, I love refractor and I respect Newtonian, that's why I still keep a giant 305 F8.5 Newtonian in Lake Egret Observatory. Such telescopes are as perfect as premium APO, but you can still get nice result with proper skills.

同感，喜欢光的反射胜于透过介质后的那种“磨砺后”的感觉，Newtonian造出的光在几何数学层面上的表现力和美感更强！

問題是副鏡及支架造成的繞射問題，要不可以造台傾軸式反射鏡。例如傾軸式牛頓或或Yolo，都是兩片式的，後者可以突破F10以下。

所以我一直這麼說，自己鍾愛APO折射鏡，但敬重牛頓反射鏡，對初學者推介時也一樣：

有些事情黑就是黑，白就是白，正如以同口徑計，APO折射鏡的像質是無可比擬的，當我玩了天文這麼多年，耗了這麼多心力去尋找最高”性價比”的望遠鏡，也曾試過花數個月在中大圖書館找遍Astrophysics Journel，也試過用很多數學公式去理順APO折射鏡在性能上的不值，最後發現不如努力讓自己擁有一台想要的APO折射鏡好了，203 F7 APO目視可推上五六百倍實效觀測，可以流動使用十多分鐘便連派拉蒙赤道儀架起來，作為固定天文台也是多少人夢想的望遠鏡，這就是我多年所求的。

但對絶大多數愛好者，他們不像我是一位全職天文人，而客觀情況也有異，若只能有一台望遠鏡，一台中口徑的牛頓反射鏡是最合理的選擇。若要為日後建構儀器群鋪路，一台小80ED會是第一步。
