This is Ted. I'm pleased to announce IDAS's new and very unique UV/IR blocking filter called "HEUIB-II". See some my blogs at

This is almost the neccessity for modified DSLRs or OSC cameras. It minimizes reddish background cast while maximizing Ha transmission. Biggest advanatage is this isolates faint Ha section from background color. It used to be very hard to do so.
If light pollution is not big issue, this is it.
I will keep testing to compare it with LPS filter under light pollution condition.
Mia will send you the updated price list including these filters shortly. M37, M48, M52, 36(unmounted) and Nikon FF are available.
This is the solution for someone who are looking for minimizing background reddish cast. Wider bandpass creates more color-rich images especially for star colors too.
