傳統的APO擁躉，受制於價格及體積重量所限，大多以130口徑為限，152口徑可謂絶無僅有。奈何不少深入的目視行星月面及深空觀測，152都明顯比130更勝一籌，甚至個別傳統觀點，152口徑，300倍以上才是嚴肅的行星觀測起步點。而拍深空特別是個別細緻天體如星系等目標，900、1000mm配合標準像素也較貼近大氣視寧度樽頸，比500mm級細節明顯豐富。這台APM-Riccarid-LZOS 152 f8 雙片空氣頭APO正解答了愛好者多年所求。

由Massimo Riccardi設計、LZOS研製，蘊釀兩年出台的APM 最新152 f8 APO折射鏡終出台了。對目視派來說，一台雙片式口徑較大的APO，性能會比一台完美的130更佳。攝影上來說，最近的APM-Riccardi 0.75x減焦鏡，配合這鏡可以獲得表現理想的900mm焦距f6有效光圈。跟傳統最高級版的APM-TMB系列，德國製的CNC LW II鏡筒比較，這鏡的鏡筒及調焦筒採取簡約規格，重量僅為9Kg，為市面上最輕巧的152APO之一。介乎於105/650及130/780LWII之間，因為節省了不少成本，最終售價比APM-TMB 130/780 LWII平宜約千多港元。首批小量將於本年底付運，有興趣者可與星河科研社聯繫。

The new 2-lens Super ED Apo has been developed from the best known optical designer Massimo Riccardi. The optics will be produced by the company LZOS in Russia with the same high quality as the 3-lens LZOS Apochromats. The choosed glass material combination is OK4 (Super ED) and OF1 (Russian equivalent to Schott KzFSN2). This combination reaches the best possible colorcorrection for such a large and fast 2-lens Apochromat. This optics is a airspaced Apochromat and all 4 optical surfaces are broadband multicoated. Each optics has an serial number and will be delivered with an interferometrical test report.

The dew cap and the main tube are made from Kruppax 50, all other parts are made from high quality aluminium, CNC turned and milled. Tube and dew cap are lacquered with RAL 9001 creme white, the aluminium parts are painted matt black. The dew cap is screwed and retractable to get a shorter transportation length and has an shade at the front end which holds back dew from the lens for a longer time.

The focuser is our new 2.5" APM rack and pinion focuser. This includes a sturdy holder for 50 mm viewfinder with quick changing bracket which is made so prezise that you can change the finder many times and it´s always well adjusted.

The tuberings are made from black powdercoated CNC machined aluminium and comes with a flat base and top wih a central 1/4" thread and 2 outer 1/4" threads with 60mm center to center space (Astrophysics Norm).

For the most an 152 mm f/8 is the largest transportable High End Apochromat. You can use it with binoviewer and it is also a perfect astrograph with our new Riccardi Reducer.

How is the CA compare to traditional 3 element TMB APO visually ?

以雙片式空氣頭來說，這台鏡的水平是極高的，Ha接近繞射極限，紫色則是3X埃利盤水平，Strehl測試波段532nm也會在95%以上，那只是Polystrehl比三片式APO稍遜。

這台鏡的另一優勢是有現成不算貴的0.75x減焦鏡，Massimo Riccardi是按APM型號，逐一以鏡間距離及後焦點去優化，結果在拍攝上至少在全片幅下與APM-TMB系無甚分別。

看APM-TMB 152/1200及APM-Riccardi 152/1200的Spot diagram，若選用3.5" APM-Riccardi減焦鏡，都可覆蓋16803晶片，只是在36x36片幅的角上失光半級光圈而已。

Massimo 回覆了兩幅圖表，一幅是APM-TMB的三枚玉空氣頭的poly-strehl表現，究竟在哪部份比雙枚玉優勝，對目視影響如何。另一幅是152 f8普消折射鏡，焦比延至多少才能在poly-strehl上跟兩片空氣頭APO看齊。因為我不容許公開發表那些資料，但有些感想：

大致上可以告訴你：

- 一台普消折射鏡要做到跟Doublet APO的Poly-strehl水平，焦比長至不設實際，APO的價值就是把一台不能實現的長焦普消收縮至一個實用的短鏡筒內

- 一台Triplet APO的Poly-strehl水平，讓有正常副鏡及支架的牛頓鏡，永遠無法超越，當然良像圈也遠比牛頓鏡大

- 在Cloudynights上有個說法，一台普消要多少倍的焦比，才可等同一台Doublet APO，大致上認為是5x，例如152 f40 普消 vs 152 f8 Doublet APO，當然要跟空氣頭的Triplet APO相比則更難了。這些都能從Poly-strehl圖上一目瞭然

Last night and this morning I could test again the new LZOS doublet.

This doublet 152 mm F/8 was tested by Wolfgang Rohr. The Testresult showed that LZOS exceeedd by here tweaking the theorical performance , only in red it falls down, but red is not sensitive for human eye, so visual testings is not hurted by red.

Taking of the non visible red color, Mr. Rohr found it’s a real apo.

Already nights before I checked the apo on stars and Monn, last night the moons Limp with its craters, Jupiter, Venus and Stars was observered again up to 300 power

This new doublet is amazing, it exceeds the Takahahsi FS 152 in visible colorcorrection

Infocuse there is zero color, zero blue, purple or whats ever on Moon, stars, Jupiter and even Venus showed zero purple color

This for my visual impressions

this SD-APO 152/1216 Lens LZOS APM Design M. Ricardi is better than the design results, but

not as good as the SkyWatcher Equinox: This is a matter of the back fokal distance of red = 656.3 nm wave.

It's the longest one, but at night you just see about 2% of this color.

At first my interferogramms: This shows red with the longest back focal lenght, but at night you just see about 2%.

The Strehl value for F-line and C-line is much better than in Massimos drawing, next picture:

國外的測試報告，光學表現評價極高的，唯一的意見是那些筒內的光欄，這點APM的老闆Markus Ludes很勞氣。的確，鑑定一台望遠鏡不是用＂Look at＂，而應該用＂Look through＂的，所以大家都對APM-LZOS鏡頭內那些刮痕、玻璃氣泡等習以為常，我收到的小至80mm APO、大至304APO，包裝物料可以是報紙、綿胎、發泡膠混在一起，甚至會看到鏡頭蓋上有一個鞋印，不會像日系望遠鏡那樣重視外包裝。

How well a scope is baffled you do NOT see when you look into the focuser, you see only if your eye or camera is positioned

At the focuse and not 100 mm in front. If your eye go to much on front of the focuse you can see of course not perfect baffle, because baffles are always optimized for the focuse plane

"...The company also optimizes the lens cell to prevent pinching due to temperature changes between -15C and 37.8C....."

要注意鏡框設計、鏡片封邊，甚至是某些大品牌也未能做好的事，所以個別昂貴APO，不要驚訝一台新鏡收到時發現有軸上彗差。

所以年前APM聘用Massimo Riccardi改良那台全球最大的510 f12.5 APO的温度補償鏡框，而我在西藏將會投入使用的Officina Stellare 500 口徑 f3.8 RiLA 攝星儀，也是出於他的手筆：
