The long wait is finally over! The astronomy cameras that we pre-announced in our blog, back in December last year (http://j.mp/evL0EK), are now shipping.
Monochrome and color models are available with and without an IR cut filter. The cameras can achieve 60 fps at a resolution of 640x480 pixels. The Sony CCD ICX618 is very sensitive to visible infra-red light and is thus ideally suited to planetary and lunar astrophotography.
The cameras are available with USB, FireWire and GigE connectors:
