我是在網上看到這廣告，建議有興趣人士去應聘罷了，不要扣我帽子

我貼這出來，只是從招聘及求職角度去看這事，究竟這樣的待遇，是高低或合理

it's good to start "teaching" languages at her age
it's the best time for learning

a number of studies found that kids can pick up at least 2 languages fluently before their primary school depending on how you do the teaching
for instance,
if one of the parents can speak fluent english, say mum - then mum should talk to the kid in english ONLY
if the other can speak another fluent language, say dad speaks cantonese, then dad should talk to the kid in cantonese ONLY
then in a few years time,
the kid will most likly speak english when she talks to mum, and only cantonese to dad
(of course when she grows up and masters the two languages, she can talk both languages to mum and dad)

this is a very interesting finding
the researchers found that the kid who learns langauges in this way and masters the two languages actually CANNOT do the direct translation between the two languages
but he/she can speak fluently and communicate efficiently

um ... well ... she has been exposed to all the exotic high-end star-gazing stuffs ...
i think in a few years time, she will most likely to excel in cosmology and astronomy rather than languages : D

May be animal training?

我認識一對夫婦，家居大埔康樂園，父親是荷蘭人，只對兒子說荷語及英語，母親是香港人，只對孩子說英語及粵語，正出現了Tony說的情況。

這也是我要面對的問題，很明顯我們家裡祖孫三代都是用粵語的，也沒有外籍家傭，所以根本沒有普通話或英語環境。

當然我身邊的例子有很多是從小自內地來港，小學唸很普通的學校，中學入讀算是名校，但英語及文學水平很高，也有後來在加拿大電台做廣播的。只是我個人在在語言中有點學習障礙，某些小學水平的東西也弄錯。

我有一位朋友的姊姊是中大中文系博士，當年是研究文字的，所以警方有時要請她檢定支票上的簽名真偽。因為記憶力媲美複印機的能力，所以很快便學會梵文。

梁小姐的情況我也在觀察中，包括體能、手腦並用、語言等的表現。
