yes 8 lenses with many airspaces always sharper the the worldbest planetary design with 3 cemented lenses

what I find myself : old test Zeiss Ortho against Radian. Zeiss is sharper and has better contrast , no question , if you looking as a real planetary observer for finest details the zeiss is the way to go.
But if you just occassionaly watch the Planets , the Radin offer a more relaxed view due the larger FOV and better eyerelief, so non experienced observers may prefer the Radian
same is as mono and NIKON
btw the old NIKON 7 mm 72° ( spotting scope eyepiece 60x775x) has better contrast less straylight then the new astro eyepiece
so when I observe Planets and I have time and I am relaxed, then I use Monos , but if I have not much time and just want to look to Planets then I use Naglers, Ethos and and others
