Enclosed image shows the Manilius and its nearby region. There is a small rille that was found by me at the end of 2003. It is unofficially named as Rima Pau and is listed in the Danny Caes' Unofficial Lunar Nomenclature http://the-moon.wikispaces.com/Unofficial+Names+(M+to+R)
It's another challenging feature for your Dob 16 to watch out or image. The location of the rille is near the north-east corner of crater Boscovich P, just south of crater Manilius. The rille runs diagonally from north-east to south-west. When I first found it, I thought it may be an artifact or just a streak of light. I sent this image to the Geological Lunar Research group to notify the other members. Very soon, its existence is confirmed and imaged by other amateurs too. They nicknamed it as Rima Pau. The rille is best seen when the morning terminator is not far away from Manilius. You may try to image it with your APM refractor or Dob 16. Good Luck to find something new on the moon!
