若這個測試成功，可以用來承承你的105APO，比HEQ5 Pro會輕一點，又沒有過中天反車問題。

I want a light weight mount for overseas imaging. HEQ5 pro is too heavy for this purpose. I guess a mount like EQ5Pro or lighter is enough for 80/480 or 105/650.

Yes, EQ5Pro is an option. However, it has been launched for long time. I just want to see if SW launches a successor of EQ5Pro. If I really want to get an EQ5Pro, I would like to buy a used one. But it seems that not many people owned an EQ5Pro. The second hand market is none!

以你的用途，什麼dual encorder沒特別用途，反而赤道儀越輕便越好，那EQ5 Pro便夠了。

若想再輕便的，不用配重，直接在配重桿及三腳架上一個支點連接一條彈簧，只是極軸在+/-90度的擺動範圍內那彈簧是其直線性拉力範圍，你隨便一個角度平衡了，其餘角度都大致平衡，你可以用Hooke's Law核證一下。

問題是，那情況下整台鏡的重心不會垂直處於極軸之上。

另外若你能手動找目標，EQ5比EQ5 Pro好，4顆1.5v電池可以用超過一個晚上，省電輕便得多，不開GOTO又沒有過中天時自動停機要Meridian flip的問題，價錢又平宜一大截。
