I used to use my Tak FS60C to do visual observations at home. It is a convenient scope for casual lunar & planetary observations. However, I bought a Tak f6.2 flattener for unsound reason, Deep Sky Imaging! It has been hanged around for more than a half year. Two days ago, 28/12/2010, I have a chance to try this little spaceship. The best destination for small spaceship in winter is the good old Orion area. Here are the products.

There are some dusts on CCD, Willis, you have to clean it a little bit.

Willis 你六個月前才第一次拍深空照，七月份和我到台灣正式拍攝了幾個晚上，到現在便能夠出品這個質量的圖片，對，是在香港出這樣的圖片。

可以說，我認為值得向所有新入門的同好跟你學習。因為僅以6個月時間從零開始到這個地步，而且期間因受制於香港的晴天率，你出動應該沒有10次吧，那不就是所有有興趣拍深空的同好的最好的榜樣嗎?

眼見太多同好花太多時間在不同的方法、器材、意見上，跑到不同的觀星勝地努力經年，照片也沒有你的好。你做了很多，現時可以多說一點了，我看你絶對有資格去"立論"發表一些感想的。我的說得太多了，不如你分享一下如何看這三個元素?

Thanks guy! I do think I am no body in the field. Get the right instrucment. Learn from the right people. Think critically. Always do reflections. Decent images can be produced. Anyway, I will post a report after I finished the mock paper!

另外 四合星無曝光，如何控制？

昨晚再拍 M42 及 馬頭。用 V4 Filter , ISO 1600 4分鐘已經全白了。
有可能現在樽頸位是周圍光害環境。

另外昨晚我試拍了 FSQ106 0度， 90度， 180度， 及 270度。 四角好像無事！今晚上圖供大家參考。
現在仍不知是那裡問題~~~

The centre part was over exposed. I have another image of the same raw files, the centre part is even better. I am too busy at the moment. Maybe upload it tonight.

Willis, you are working at F6.2 with flattener at APS format, may be you can check if the aberration level off axis is about the same level of Newtonian (without coma corrector) at similar focal ratio, please note mine is full frame 5D Mark II,
