Details :

FSQ106ED + reducer, ST2000XM (-10C) L 4min X 39 , RGB 4 min x 4 (2x2 bin) , GPD + 9X50 finder PHD guiding.

This time I didn't use MaxIm DL to do the colour stack , all the LRGB combined in PS and processed by CS 4.

The color is very nice & the s/n is high! As u mentioned u used different processing, can u also post the previous one so that we can compare the differences.

我用派拉蒙好一點，1420mm若是拍三五分鐘的，盲跟便算了，所以若有guide chip的，曝光30秒修正一次無可以　 :mrgreen:

另外圖片是1200x915的，是裁切了或是縮了圖? :roll:

It has nothing to do with the compression , it has something to do with CCD and I also notice this in other people's CCD photos...... I do not know the reason and it exits in the fits files of my CCD .

Could anyone explain ?

I did not use the internal guide chip as I was using my old GPD which has no relay to support Sbig guiding caple ( I used shoestring relay box+ external guider + Phd) . I think it is not a problem in a dark site to find a guide star as I can always find a guide star for 500mm at Yuen Long (5 s exposure) . But for Ha , it is nearly hopeless to get a guide star ....

Yes I cropped a bit as I took the frames in 2 nights ( no auto-goto , only " human meat" go-to the same area) so quite a bit non-overlapping area discarded....

Thanks Ben! I guess the ur previous version got better details so I processed ur previous version with PS. I just boosted up the color.

Augus adviced to colour stack RGB in MaxIM DL and combine the L with the RGB in PS. Will try later .

今天回顾下此帖，很棒！好的片子都是相似的，不好的片子各有各的名堂！距离市区八十公里已探明一路线，海拨900左右，有吃有住，下次若来时能长住半月便好，九月秋季武汉北郊的星空很灿烂，此处风景不错，两人在此度假吃喝住半月消费应不会过一个iPhone 4！

Today, a member have been to the place, and I ask for the info details. If it's fine, I could give you some plan later.

I think the reflector should be more worthy although it's not easy to carry for you.

Nowadays, many friends leave their equatorial and other equipments in my house for convienent observation.
