CaK (20130107)

It is rare to see so many spots on the sun, so we had a quick observation during lunch in school. We used Herschel Wedge (with APM 80mm refractor) for white light observation, and used LS100T and LS152T for the H-alpha. The H-alpha image was not very interesting, so I only took a picture in Calcium-K wavelength using Lunt CaK module and DMK41 camera.

Yes, that's why I like to shoot in CaK!

Furthermore, CaK also makes the sunspots stand out more than H-alpha image.
