I like to play with the Friedman style too. Can you share some key steps? I think you just invert the disk, right?

Yes. I just invert the disk.
The prominence and disk are process saperately then combine together by layer masking.
I noted that Alan Friedman actually can make the sunspot as dark and filament in bright. Not sure how he do it...

Lots of actions on the sun! I love the prominence on the left which seems to be lifting off into space. The dark filament is also fantastic.

How come I always feel that the CaK image is sharper? Or is it just me.....

You are right, CaK image is sharper.
I have compared two H-alpha filter of the same brand with 0.5A & 0.45A different only.
The one I used (0.45A) never sharper than the 0.5A.
I suspect that my filter is the older production compared to the 0.5A one.
I also noted that the coating of the filter starting to fall off...very similar to what happened on the Lunt BF last time.

你說的0.45A不是Lunt的吧? 因為Blocking filter的問題只影響一個批次，Etalon不受影響力的：

不是Lunt的。
不过前两个星期才拜访了已经换过一次Lunt BF的镜主，发现边缘已经开始出现轻微的同样问题，暂不影响使用，再观测一段时间再说。

若有問題也可再換，他們始終是要解決的。
