The difference between sun-gazing and star-gazing: you never know what you are going to get when you watch the sun.
Taken with DMK41 and LS75F unobstructed.

Wow! The image is extremely detail! What scope u are using? How many pieces are there in this Mosaic? Any how many frames are stacked?

I used APM 80/480 scope. Actually, this is not a mosaic. The DMK41 cannot capture the whole sun. So I let the sun drift a bit so that every part of the sun was captured in at least some parts of the video.

I stack about 700 frames.

woooow! it's 3D like.

how long is the effective focal length? why you need to stack so many frames?

f is just 480mm. No one frame captures the whole sun. I had to let the sun drift a bit in my video. Therefore, I need to stack lots of frames.

that's strange, why my exposure through the LS35T (f10) is so short and gain so low (300), so that I just need to stack 10 frames or so, and you need to stack so many even at faster aperture of f6.4?
