to qualify yourself for Baader Mark V binoviewer, you should got 2 full sets of TMB Supermonocentrics first, otherwise don't wast your money on those 2nd class eyepieces, in that case the bottleneck is not at the binoviewer, check here

Easy, I can also keep ('test' is a better word) your few sets of mono eyepieces that you have collected from second hand market.

Gamma 10

The gamma values are different for USB version and Firewire version of DXK cameras.

For a firewire version, a gamma of 10 is (roughly) equivalent to a gamma of 100 in USB version.

For firewire version, we cannot set gamma to a value that is less than 10.
For USB version, we can set gamma to less than 100.

So it is possible to shoot with better contrast with USB version. But we can bring out the contrast later in Photoshop if we use the firewire version.

Oh my god.... now no body buy AF version so I forget everything of that
