The lens is full frame Canon EF 8-15mm F4 circular/rectanlinear Fisheye.
The camera is QHY8, as ahown in Nebulosity2.
Thus, the lens is capable of 180 degree cirular fisheye image on APS-C Cmos.
The whole setup is put on top of tripod and placed slightly below the telescope so that I can monitor where the scope is pointing.
If the lens is put higher up for wider FOV, the whole sky could be covered but I could not check the position of the various telescopes.
For now, the scopes' accesssible FOV limited by the roof opening will be enough for present imaging.
There will be another Fujinon fisheye zoom 1.4m-3.1mm F1.4 with automatic iris, to be attached to low resolution uncooled ICX429 chip for outside observatory monitor
of the sky condition. To be erected soon. This video camera GStar2 has senseup but is quite noisy due to some white pixels. Not sure if I could remove these
hot pixels for night time viewing.
