遙控天文台
此計劃已到了最後階段, 為此向大家分享一下:
上年夏天時份, 與”鏡神”談論到會搬家至大埔. 因為”鏡神”給與建議, 就著手計劃建設遙控天文台. 為何遙控天文台?
1. 沒有技術 – 我不像各位高手有好技術, 要依賴電腦解決問題.
2. 時間及地點 – 我大部份時間都在大陸工作, 而我工作地方都不少光害. 所以最後決定在香港大埔家天台建設遙控天文台, 可盡量在好天日子拍攝照片. (有時我都非常妒忌 one 爺, 一星期殺入 PTC 五晚. :p)
3. 拍攝 – 這是個人問題: 年紀大, 眼睛不好. 唯有向拍攝方向發展. 上次去陰拿山就好明白自己眼睛不及其他同好.

今次我決定以下器材:
1. RoboDome – 超小型 Dome.
2. 10”LX-200 GPS – 因要配合 RoboDome, 所以要用 Meade LX-200 系列
3. Piggy back Kson ED1026 – 因輕及質量不差, 用來做 Guiding 或拍照都有不錯效果
4. SBIG ST-10XME – 此 CCD 是 SBIG 最強感光度相機, 但有嚴重 BLOOMING 問題. 但考慮了現時位置環境, 附近有一定程度光害, 需要用最強光害 FILTER 及 曝光時間不能太長. 所以決定用最快 CCD. 不過有可能錯誤選擇了. :<
5. DSI - 此 CCD 是上次買 8”LX-200時跟來的, 用來做 Guiding 及補助攝影.
6. 另此會對極軸, 所以跟用 Meade Ultrawedge.

有關技術支援, 好多謝鏡神義務出手.
根據現時進度, 會於五月開始安裝, 並希望六月時能運作.

- 現時導星配置尋找被導星的機率、導星表現

- ST10配主鏡的視場下，LX200台架的指向精度

出一點現在預備情況相.

圖中見到白色是 Robo Dome. 約 50~70Kg. 要三個大男人拉線上天台, 差不多殺了我幾次. 其實裡面都好簡單及"化學", 真係拍"打風"時會吹起. 如果有辦法解決到裡面 Control System, 在大陸做一定"平, 靚, 正".

另一張相做一個"石屎"平台放 RoboDome 上去.

應該月尾可做裝設工序.

1. How much is the dome?
2. What objects u are going to shot with LX200? Moon or planets?
3. The focal length of LX200 is 2500mm & the focal length of ED1026 is 600mm. The ED1026 may not be a good guiding scope for LX200. May be more scopes are needed...
I don't have space & money to build one. So when u finish ur observatory, I want to have a site visit! Yeah!!!

1. around US$6000~7000. I forgot the exactly price.
2. DSO
3. I will add the Meade 4000 f3.3 reducer, thus the focual length will be 825mm. If I use Meade 4000 f6.3 reducer, the focual length will be 1575mm. Then I will add a barlow to Kson ED1026. Of course, my Sbig ST-10 is build in a self guiding chip. Thus, that isn't needed the ED1026 for guiding, except it can't find the guiding star.
4. I just planning to add one more scope for picture (may be Kson ED805.5), if the LX-200 can suffer the weight. I want to take as much picture as positions at the same time. The first, I needto save the money to buy the 社長's ST4000XCM.

Are u going to use webcam or webcam size CCD to image DSOs? The Meade 4000 f3.3 reducer is only for small CCD, not big size CCD or DSLR.

問題不大! 只是 Focual length 選擇少了. 以前以為可有 825mm 及 1575mm. 現在只有 1575mm 一個選擇作深空拍攝. 或者用 DSI 就可以減至 825mm, 不過就會浪費了 Sbig ST-10XME.
