Both APM-LOMO 80/480 & 80/600 had been out of stock for about 1 yr in APM website. Will they be produced again or simply discontinued?

因為這台LOMO鏡的ED玻璃是OK4，是由LZOS供應的，但LOMO每年得到的OK4玻璃份量都很少，最大也只能造到102，所以80/600、80/480的造價越來越貴，都要兩萬元以上了，當這台鏡面世十多年，在需求飽和，供求關係下造價又再進一步推高，所以只能停產了。

這兩台鏡是市場上修正度最高的同口徑同焦比APO鏡，一方面甚少厰家會以三片空氣頭佈局去造一台80小鏡，而高橋的FCT造工如何亦有一定共識。

樓上這鏡是代售的，而我自己的80/480及80/600則惜售了，甚至想買一個Matthias Wirth版本鏡筒回來。當年有一間黃和屬下的公司，一位很喜歡觀星的紐西蘭藉老闆退休了，公司拿了一筆預算出來跟我買了一台Matthias Wirth版本的APM-LOMO 80/600連Carl Zeiss目鏡給他，那可說是精品中的精品。

If they are discontinuoued, they are collectors already. The special Matthias Wirth edition would be rare collector. If u can get one, I would like to see how great is the mechanical craftsmanship

我印象最深刻的一幕，是用自己的80/600配TMB 1.8x ED Barlow及Supermonocentric 4mm，推上270看月面，影像結實的情度讓我嚇一跳。

我數年前從德國親手挑回來的APM-LOMO 80/480，當晚就是跟Skywatcher ED Pro 80/600比較(金色筒那款)，後者如text book所說，望遠鏡的承受上限倍率為每毫米口徑2x，亦即在160x左右便開始有點影像柔化，看到跟前者的差距，而APM我是加上Televue 4x Powermate、TMB 1.8x ED Barlow、Supermonocentric 4mm，推上864x看對岸深灣遊艇會的水銀燈，影像也沒有break down。另外我加了一個激光校正器上去測試，可以看到羽毛調焦的精粹所在：在極高的負重量下，調焦筒一樣能順滑調節但又不會溜出來，用力搖動也不見虛位。

The max magnification I tried with my APM-LOMO 80/480 was 600x. I used TV 2.5X & 2-4mm Nalger at 2mm to observe sunspots in white light. Although the contrast is low at such magnification, there is no break down.

高端APO折射鏡的優點就是提供比一般望遠鏡額外的可用倍率，當然是否理順那額外價格則見仁見智。

Markus Ludes用Porsche去形容自己的APM望遠鏡，正如我的203APO，在一個很細小的體積內，蘊藏了很強大的性能。
